BULLYING INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATION
Parents, please join us as a team of Worcester Public Schools professionals presents an informational presentation about Bullying. View flyer...

Tuesday, April 29, 2014
6:30 - 8:00 PM
Worcester Technical High School
Auditorium

ATTENDANCE MATTERS FACT:
Chronic absence can affect all of our children, not just those missing school. If significant numbers of students in a classroom or school are chronically absent, learning for all students can be adversely affected. The pace of instruction slows down when teachers have to spend time reviewing material for those who missed the lessons in the first place. Learn more about reducing chronic absence in your school.

STAND AGAINST RACISM
The Worcester Public Schools supports the Stand Against Racism, which takes place on April 25th (during school vacation). We are encouraging our schools to observe it during the week of April 14th - 17th. Read more...

Bullying
Starting on 10/2, all BMS students will particpate in showings of the acclaimed video, "BULLY". We will be screening the version for younger students, and students will participate in activities designed to educate about the impact of bullying, and to encourage them to be more empathetic, and to become "upstanders" instead of "bystanders" when they witness bullying.

For questions or for more information about this program, please contact Maura Mahoney, School Adjustment Counselor, at 774-248-2575.
WPS Bus Policy
This is a reminder to students and parents/guardians that a bus pass is required for both morning and afternoon buses. Only students with a valid bus pass will be permitted to ride the bus. Replacement bus passes may be purchased for $2 in the Assisant Principals' office.
